Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nelsinho Coutinho took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hermínio Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelsinho Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hermínio Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nelsinho Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Igarapiuna EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelsinho Coutinho couldn't finish the play. Ronaldo Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelsinho Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Medeiros notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Timbora's Hermínio Massa. Hermínio Massa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ronaldo Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nilmar de Queiroz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Ronaldo Medeiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Igarapiuna EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Timbora getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Nilmar de Queiroz hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, one of Timbora:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Timbora.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Pitta was the one to do the kick off. Nelsinho Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Hermínio Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Zanette hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Timbora's zone, Ronaldo Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermínio Massa came out of the goal and Ronaldo Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nelsinho Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Igarapiuna EC's Hermínio Massa threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nelsinho Coutinho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hermínio Massa had great luck who in the 64thth minute grab hold of the ball when Nelsinho Coutinho from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Hermínio Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute Nelsinho Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermínio Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ronaldo Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes in the game, Nelsinho Coutinho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hermínio Massa having to interfere. Ronaldo Medeiros might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermínio Massa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldo Medeiros ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the match, Nelsinho Coutinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hermínio Massa, 0-4. In the 79th minute, Ronaldo Medeiros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hermínio Massa. The goal made the score 0-5. 87 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Medeiros notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Timbora's Hermínio Massa. Hermínio Massa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Igarapiuna EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Timbora throughout the match.
