Guga Brasil helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Igor Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC CORINTHIANS PAULISTA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Suwon Samsung Bluewings's Guga Brasil got a free kick in the 35th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guga Brasil to make the kick off. After 52 minutes SC CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guga Brasil who took care of the corner kick. Suwon Samsung Bluewings's Guga Brasil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nicolas Romero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Percival Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Brasil in the 57th minute of play forced SC CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Nicolas Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Nicolas Romero made a huge save. After having played for 63 minutes, Guga Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suwon Samsung Bluewings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guga Brasil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 played minutes Suwon Samsung Bluewings got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Lopes. Igor Lima hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Nicolas Romero made a huge save. Nicolas Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guga Brasil in the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Suwon Samsung Bluewings booed when SC CORINTHIANS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
