Spectators: 7152 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tadeusz Plachetka started the match with the kick off. A throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game was made by Leonel Campidelis with Elder Saraiva as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Vânderson Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Moutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Rodriguinho Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 played minutes Maues got a freekick which was hit by Bento Moutinho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodriguinho Garcia in the 12th minute of play forced Maues's goalkeeper Lauro França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. César da Mata took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lauro França. Lauro França dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jequitai Futebol Clube's Vânderson Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Jequitai Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Vânderson Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Eger in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Maues booed when Jequitai Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jequitai Futebol Clube's Vânderson Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Jequitai Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Vânderson Ramalho didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Vânderson Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Plachetka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Jacinto Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Maues's goal looked a bit too open when César da Mata came free, but Lauro França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, Jequitai Futebol Clube's César da Mata made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lauro França was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Jonas Prestes made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Jequitai Futebol Clube's Júnior de Amorim got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Tadeusz Plachetka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Tadeusz Plachetka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maues fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 63 minutes into the match, Maues's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Xavier came free, but Lauro França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vânderson Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Tadeusz Plachetka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Luan de Andrade notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Maues's Lauro França. Lauro França was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute, Jequitai Futebol Clube's Rodriguinho Garcia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lauro França. Lauro França yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Dinei Dante's late challenge caught a Jequitai Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinei Dante helped the player get up and apologised. Dinei Dante hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Maues manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Jequitai Futebol Clube to win.
