The supporters of Rio Bonito booed when Fúria Tecnológica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauan Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes, Rio Bonito's Celso Varela shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nelsinho Dantas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rio Bonito reached it. If Gernando Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabinho Paiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the game, Fúria Tecnológica's Zé Freitas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabinho Paiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After having played for 80 minutes, Cauan Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fúria Tecnológica's Rubinho Arce was substituted for Gernando Esteves. 84 minutes into the game, Yan de Alcântara threw the ball into play from the sideline. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Freitas in the 91st minute of play forced Rio Bonito's goalkeeper Fabinho Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute, Rubinho Arce reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabinho Paiva. The goal made the score 0-8.
