No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bulcsú Nemes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Mutuipe's Nilton Queiroz threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rubinho Pontes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Mutuipe's Olavo Barros got a free kick in the 68th minute. Inácio Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bulcsú Nemes in the 79th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Rubinho Pontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patrício Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Nilton Queiroz made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, sunijic's goalkeeper Nilton Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrício Paranaense. If Patrício Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
