Baluarte SS's Leonardo Mangueira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Betão Costa, made in the 29th minute of the game. Edmundo Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fiori Tavares got in the 37th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Ronaldinho Rocha. This was a shot which ended in a score of 3-0. Ronaldinho Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Oliveira in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Campeões F C's Alan Saldanha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldinho Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Alan Saldanha took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Ronaldinho Rocha to make any attempt to save it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoro Isaio made a kick off. A collision led to Baluarte SS getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ulisses Mangueira hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Saldanha in the 57th minute of play forced Baluarte SS's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Campeões F C's zone, Isidoro Isaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliézer Abraão came out of the goal and Isidoro Isaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Baluarte SS's Ivo Esteves got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Edmundo Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute.
