Gilvan Leite's late challenge caught a Os Namoral's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilvan Leite helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of SC. Vila Caputera:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Os Namoral:s goal. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Os Namoral. Aílton Perez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luís Fábio Figueiredo. 3-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC. Vila Caputera walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
