Tuina SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mombaco the free kick. Reginaldo Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serafim Cunha made a kick off. When Luiz Gustavo Schmidt fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuina SC's protests and gave Luiz Gustavo Schmidt a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tuina SC's Nelsinho Reis got a free kick in the 84th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Ivo Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tuina SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivo Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivo Lara took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fernando Vidal. Luís Fernando Vidal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Reginaldo Brito made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Júlio Pimenta sent off a good shot on target. Serafim Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mombaco were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Tuina SC's much stronger midfield.
