Spectators: 6274 (Terracing: 5025, Seating: 1247, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cássio Ceresso started the match with the kick off. Cássio Ceresso struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Ronaldinho Botelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaino FC. If Lenílson Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 played minutes Monumento Sports got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Madureira. 10 minutes into the match, Gaino FC's Cássio Ceresso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldinho Botelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Gaino FC got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Cordeiro. Teodoro Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 15 minutes, Décio Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monumento Sports and the Gaino FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gaino FC booed when Monumento Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Décio Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gaino FC's Jaime Loureiro got a free kick in the 16th minute. Gaino FC's Custódio Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Quaresma in the 18th minute of play. Décio Silva got his second yellow card in the match during the 20th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 21st minute, Décio Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcinho Barros succeeded in the game's 21st minute to get real power on a long shot . Monumento Sports's Ronaldinho Botelho hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-0! Gaino FC's Cássio Ceresso was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Custódio Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Borges in the 30th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Lenílson Matorin rounded Monumento Sports's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. If Raimundo Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldinho Botelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio Ceresso's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the game, Teodoro Abraão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monumento Sports's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gaino FC the free kick. The supporters of Gaino FC booed when Monumento Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cássio Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldinho Botelho was a little too slow when Cássio Ceresso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Zé Carlos Quaresma made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Lenílson Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenílson Matorin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gaino FC's Cássio Ceresso in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monumento Sports's goalie prevented a goal. With 59 minutes on the clock, Raimundo Matorin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Monumento Sports a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dida Tande, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gaino FC's Custódio Barros. 4-1. In the 65thth minute of the game Cássio Ceresso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monumento Sports's Ronaldinho Botelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Lenílson Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Fabiano Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Cássio Ceresso put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ronaldinho Botelho. Marcinho Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Cássio Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Cássio Ceresso put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ronaldinho Botelho. In the 87th match minute, Monumento Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Borges to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Gaino FC's Marcinho Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldinho Botelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zé Carlos Quaresma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monumento Sports's Ronaldinho Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Ceresso in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Gaino FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
