Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Baptista started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Adrianinho da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cangoritgo SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrianinho da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. César Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Tavares having to interfere. Abel Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Tavares having to interfere. Abel Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Parapouco SC's zone, Frank Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Tavares came out of the goal and Frank Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrianinho da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Adrianinho da Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. César Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Ramos in the 23rd minute of play. Adrianinho da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. César Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oséias Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Frank Baptista had several of the Parapouco SC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed César Tavares as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Adrianinho da Fonseca got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alexsandro Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abel Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cangoritgo SS's Abel Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Baptistas short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got César Tavares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Oséias Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. César Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oséias Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oséias Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over César Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oséias Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Gilvan Mota made the kick off in the second half. Parapouco SC's César Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho da Fonseca in the 52nd minute of play. César Tavares came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Cangoritgo SS's Frank Baptista. But to his dismay, Frank Baptista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 60 minutes into the game, Oséias Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. César Tavares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 63 minutes, Abel Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cangoritgo SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Ramos in the 65th minute of play forced Parapouco SC's goalkeeper César Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. César Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Cangoritgo SS's Oséias Ramos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. César Tavares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Adrianinho da Fonseca scored 7-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of César Tavares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 80 minutes, Oséias Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cangoritgo SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oséias Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 minutes of play, Cangoritgo SS's Frank Baptista made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. César Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adrianinho da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Frank Baptista sped through Parapouco SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of César Tavares. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Adrianinho da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cangoritgo SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrianinho da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. César Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th match minute, Parapouco SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Cangoritgo SS were the better team. Cangoritgo SS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
