When Jaime Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Angelvs XIII fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Barreto couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Sidnei Santana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriano Vides was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After 16 minutes, Gugu Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inhapim and the Angelvs XIII players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adriano Vides didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sidnei Santana went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Sidnei Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adriano Vides stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidnei Santana's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Sidnei Santana sped through Inhapim's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adriano Vides. Sidnei Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Angelvs XIII fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Angelvs XIII's Sidnei Santana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Angelvs XIII's Jaime Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Sidnei Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sidnei Santana to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Inhapim's Laerte Almeida got a free kick in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Inhapim's Adriano Vides got control of the ball when Sidnei Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jaime Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angelvs XIII's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Vides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sidnei Santanas short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Adriano Vides to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Angelvs XIII were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Inhapim's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Inácio Paulista took the corner. After taking down the ball on Angelvs XIII's corner Cássio Vergílio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adriano Vides quite easily take care of the ball. If Sidnei Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidnei Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Adriano Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cido Lira hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Sidnei Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adriano Vides having to make a save. Adriano Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Barreto in the 69th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Inhapim:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Angelvs XIII:s goal. Adriano Vides had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Sidnei Santana's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Angelvs XIII's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Fontes came free, but Anselmo Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If André Luiz Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Inhapim getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Gugu Ortiz hit a great ball. Sidnei Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidnei Santana got free with Adriano Vides in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sidnei Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Inhapim's zone, Sidnei Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Vides came out of the goal and Sidnei Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelvs XIII's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Inácio Paulista in the 94th minute. Tarcisio Monteiro tried in the game's 94th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Adriano Vides. An annoying self made goal, 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Angelvs XIII left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Inhapim.
