The Angelvs XIII fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Angelvs XIII's Sidnei Santana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 18 minutes, Inácio Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angelvs XIII's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Paulista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24 minutes of play, Angelvs XIII's Sidnei Santana made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Capecu SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inácio Paulista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sidnei Santana made a kick off. Inácio Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Motta having to interfere. Angelvs XIII's Anselmo Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo do Valle in the 59th minute of play. Wesley Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Motta having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Sidnei Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sidnei Santana took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Motta. Ricardo Motta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. If Jaime Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wesley Silva during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Angelvs XIII:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Capecu SS:s goal. The referee gave Capecu SS a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elias Moreno, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Angelvs XIII's Anselmo Pinho. 1-4. In the 81st minute, Sidnei Santana made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Motta. Capecu SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Capecu SS's Ricardo Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Santana in the 88th minute of play.
