Spectators: 7071 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aníbal Braga started the match with the kick off. Dráuzio de Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Alfredinho Pinho made a huge save. Sílvio de Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aníbal Braga's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Zime United's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Braga came free, but Sílvio de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Flavinho Montenegro, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sílvio de Almeida was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Flavinho Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Zime United's zone, Aníbal Braga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio de Almeida came out of the goal and Aníbal Braga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Quinquelere getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Umberto Tinoco hit a great ball. Aníbal Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio de Almeida having to interfere. Flavinho Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sílvio de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zime United's Sílvio de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Montenegro in the 36th minute of play. The Quinquelere fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Quinquelere's Aníbal Braga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sílvio de Almeida came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Quinquelere's Aníbal Braga. But to his dismay, Aníbal Braga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Arruda made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Lucas Arruda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredinho Pinho. Quinquelere's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Arruda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Quinquelere's zone, Lucas Arruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredinho Pinho came out of the goal and Lucas Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Flavinho Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavinho Montenegro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Quinquelere's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lucas Arruda's late challenge caught a Quinquelere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Braga got free with Sílvio de Almeida in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aníbal Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Pinho having to interfere. If Flavinho Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aníbal Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sílvio de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quinquelere's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
