Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Piquara's Felipe Duarte started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pedrinho Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Duarte got free with Renato Pernambucano in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Renato Pernambucano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfredo Dante in the 7th minute. If Felipe Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porteiras's goalkeeper Renato Pernambucano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20thth minute of the game Felipe Duarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porteiras's Renato Pernambucano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Porteiras booed when Piquara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Porteiras getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Oscar Saraiva hit a great ball. Anderson Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Pernambucano having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Felipe Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piquara's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Pernambucano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albertino Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Renato Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Pernambucano having to interfere. Anderson Paes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Renato Pernambucano came out and tried to block the shot, but Anderson Paes slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 37th minute. After 41 played minutes Porteiras got a freekick which was hit by Cauã Cearense. After 47 played minutes Porteiras got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Branco. The audience cheered loudly when Felipe Duarte's long shot in the 48th minute became 4-0 when the ball went to the left of and passed Renato Pernambucano.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldemar Antunes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Anderson Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute Felipe Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Albertino Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Porteiras getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Róbson Leite hit a great ball. Piquara's Anderson Paes got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manfredo Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renato Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anderson Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When José Mendes fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porteiras's protests and gave José Mendes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, José Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Porteiras's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Duarte came free, but Renato Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anderson Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Pernambucano having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Albertino Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piquara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertino Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renato Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Porteiras's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Dante came free, but Renato Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Manfredo Dante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Renato Pernambucano came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Piquara's Manfredo Dante. But to his dismay, Manfredo Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Albertino Veiga struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Renato Pernambucano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piquara. After having played for 99 minutes, Felipe Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piquara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Piquara's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
