If Fellipe Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Guarau EC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Osvaldinho Ceresso hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Reynaldo de Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fellipe Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Meira having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gualter Cosme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Álvaro Meireles was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualter Cosme to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Fellipe Berger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espinilho's Jorginho Meira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 53 minutes of play, Guarau EC's Fernão de Brito made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorginho Meira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the match, Espinilho's Reynaldo de Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Álvaro Meireles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Guarau EC's Álvaro Meireles got control of the ball when Reynaldo de Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Reynaldo de Queirós reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Álvaro Meireles. The goal made the score 1-1. 94 minutes into the match, Guarau EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Cosme came free, but Álvaro Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
