Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alberto Vergílio kicked off to start the match. Albertinho Prestes hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Aranau's Gustavo Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto de Azevedo in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Fausto de Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Tinoco. Aranau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto de Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 9th match minute, Aranau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valério Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Fausto de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gustavo Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Quixada AD's Gustavo Tinoco threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fausto de Azevedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alberto Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Davi Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rdth minute of the game Alberto Vergílio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quixada AD's Davi Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the game, José Carlos Lira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gustavo Tinoco. José Carlos Lira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Alberto Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doni da Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Davi Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doni da Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Aranau's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto de Azevedo came free, but Gustavo Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Oswaldo Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quixada AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto de Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. Richard Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Davi Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Prestes in the 53rd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Marco Penha put in a rough tackle. After 59 played minutes Aranau got a freekick which was hit by Marco Penha. Gustavo Tinoco came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Quixada AD's Fausto de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Fausto de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Gustavo Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Brito in the 74th minute of play. Gustavo Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto de Azevedo in the 76th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Aranau defense, Fausto de Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Tinoco. The Aranau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Tinoco should have stopped the shot. Gustavo Tinoco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto de Azevedo went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute Fausto de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
