Eriberto Netto charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Netto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Catole SC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Netto. A collision led to Catole SC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jean Sabóia hit a great ball. If Tales Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The audience was convinced that Frédson Neto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Germano Marinho was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Tales Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Dante having to interfere. Silas Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Itapeacu FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Cléber Couto hit a great ball. In the 78th minute of the match Jaime Favoretto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lino Dante skillfully saved the ball. Lino Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Souto in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Eriberto Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Itapeacu FC's Cléber Couto got a free kick in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Silas Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catole SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silas Souto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Dante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lino Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Itapeacu FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
