Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when António Lopes took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitório de Medeiros in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Costa saved Vasantes SS from getting behind. Nestor Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Moreno in the 20th minute of play forced Mororo's goalkeeper Vicente Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Costa came out of the goal and Ludomil Zagrodny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vitório de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Vasantes SS booed when Mororo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório de Medeiros in the 34th minute of the match. Conrado Costa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mororo's Vitório de Medeiros shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Luís Guilherme Ramos made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Osvaldinho Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mororo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldinho Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osvaldinho Nóbrega might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conrado Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldinho Nóbrega ran back to his position shaking his head. Vicente Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Ramos in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Mororo's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Ramos came free, but Vicente Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Guilherme Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 minutes, Osvaldinho Nóbrega mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mororo and the Vasantes SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Luís Guilherme Ramos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vicente Bastos. The goal made the score 4-2. After having played for 85 minutes, Vitório de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Waldir Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vasantes SS's protests and gave Waldir Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. Waldir Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Conrado Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório de Medeiros in the 93rd minute of play. If Osvaldinho Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Mororo's Osvaldinho Nóbrega nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conrado Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2.
