Virgílio Goiano made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Manfredo Borges sent off a good shot on target. In the 5th minute, Washington Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Delfim Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Real Rael FC's zone, Aníbal Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Santana came out of the goal and Aníbal Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michel Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Cerezo in the 11th minute of the match. Clóvis Dantas hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Real Rael FC's Hílton Urbano got a free kick in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delfim Dante in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Santana saved Real Rael FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Real Rael FC's zone, Dário Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Santana came out of the goal and Dário Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the game, one of Real Rael FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clóvis Dantas in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgílio Goiano saved Feliz AD from getting behind. In the 42nd match minute, Feliz AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Lira to maneuver through the defense. 1-2 became the score in the 43rd minute when Clóvis Dantas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Real Rael FC got a freekick which was hit by Matheus do Valle. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clóvis Dantas made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Walmyr Hoffmann recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Michel Santana. Walmyr Hoffmann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Delfim Dantes short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Michel Santana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 66th minute, Denílson Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabrício Gerber hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Dário Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfredo Borges charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manfredo Borges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute Delfim Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dário Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Michel Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Feliz AD got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Dante. In the 88th minute Manfredo Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Real Rael FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Manfredo Borges hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the game, Chiquinho Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Rael FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Feliz AD the free kick. Chiquinho Leão hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Real Rael FC's Michel Santana got control of the ball when Delfim Dante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Michel Santana made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Delfim Dante sent off a good shot on target. Feliz AD played a much better game than Real Rael FC and deserved their victory. The Real Rael FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
