That was the end of his participation in the match. 77 minutes into the match, Palmeiras do Acre's Rogério Dantas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorival Cordeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dorival Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A collision led to Palmeiras do Acre getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Guido Tamajon hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Túlio Proença could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Dorival Cordeiro however easily saved by the left post. Mário Souza scored 0-5 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dorival Cordeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
