In the 4th minute, José Carlos Quadros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 6 minutes into the game, when Agenor Valle put in a rough tackle. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for T-Rex Warriors! In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Favelados da Pátria. Alfredinho Vaz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Augusto Fantini. 0-1. After 15 minutes T-Rex Warriors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfredinho Vaz who took care of the corner kick. Telmo Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Augusto Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, José Carlos Quadros made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Fantini. T-Rex Warriors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Agnaldo Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Pereira in the 30th minute of play. Kiko Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Augusto Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Quadros in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th play minute Wilson Pereira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Agnaldo Aguiar. 2-2. Agnaldo Aguiar came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by T-Rex Warriors's Tony Lindholm. But to his dismay, Tony Lindholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Lindholm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Favelados da Pátria booed when T-Rex Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, T-Rex Warriors's Tony Lindholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agnaldo Aguiar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tony Lindholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Agnaldo Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, T-Rex Warriors's Fausto Linares got a free kick in the 70th minute. Telmo Custódio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Augusto Fantini came out and tried to block the shot, but Telmo Custódio slotted it home off the left post making it 4-3 in the 73rd minute. Tony Lindholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Lindholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agnaldo Aguiar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Lindholm ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Pereira struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Agnaldo Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for T-Rex Warriors. T-Rex Warriors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
