Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Sucurizinho AD's Zacarias Alves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elias Saldanha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The supporters of Sucurizinho AD booed when Ninho da Águia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Zacarias Alves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hermínio Furtado. Zacarias Alves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Inácio do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor de Medeiros in the 17th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match, Zacarias Alves tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hermínio Furtado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zacarias Alves succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. If Fabiano Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermínio Furtado made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Elias Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. Zacarias Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabiano Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio do Vale having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor de Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ninho da Águia's Hermínio Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Alves in the 53rd minute of play. If Elias Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ninho da Águia's Fabiano Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fabiano Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermínio Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Saldanha in the 74th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inácio do Vale showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Ninho da Águia booed when Sucurizinho AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inácio do Vale went to the wrong direction when Ulysses Leão was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Fabiano Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio do Vale having to interfere. Inácio do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor de Medeiros in the 90th minute of the match. When Elias Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Sucurizinho AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Saldanha couldn't finish the play. Elias Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Furtado having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ninho da Águia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sucurizinho AD.
