Piuma SS's Franciszek Birkenhagen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cássio Fantini but with some difficulty. In the 43rd minute, Luiz Fabiano Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tero Hanninen in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Tero Hanninen made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Tero Hanninen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piuma SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tero Hanninen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeferson Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Eliézer Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Juqueri EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliézer Tepedino couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Juqueri EC booed when Piuma SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piuma SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Luizão Arruda scored to the left of an out of position Afonso Borges, making the score, 0-1. Silvério Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Raí Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Eliézer Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Leão in the 76th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliézer Tepedino got free with Afonso Borges in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Juqueri EC's Luiz Fabiano Leão dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Leão in the 83rd minute of play forced Piuma SS's goalkeeper Afonso Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tero Hanninen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cássio Fantini was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 91st minute Luiz Fabiano Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tero Hanninen in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Fantini saved Juqueri EC from getting behind. In the 95thth minute of the game Tero Hanninen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juqueri EC's Cássio Fantini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match was over Juqueri EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Piuma SS throughout the match.
