Régis Godoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogério do Valle's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Perivaldo Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Rogério do Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Régis Godoy was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Rogério do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis Godoy having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in S.C. Cia Paulista's zone, Rogério do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Régis Godoy came out of the goal and Rogério do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Váldson Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis Godoy having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogério do Valle made a kick off. When Naldo Catarinense fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Cia Paulista's protests and gave Naldo Catarinense a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes S.C. Cia Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Catarinense. Rogério do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis Godoy having to interfere. Patrício Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrício Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Acácio Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Acácio Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes S.C. Cia Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Ortiz. If Cláudio Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Vicente Baiano with Acácio Ortiz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 91st minute, Rogério do Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ColdHeat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 94th minute, Rogério do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ColdHeat eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
