Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marquinhos Pinheiro made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes in the game, Zézinho de Alcântara fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alfredão Tepedino having to interfere. Tião Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tião Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arapixy AD's Tião Pitta got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zézinho de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alfredão Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tapora SS getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Otávio Santana hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Sergipano in the 22nd minute of play forced Tapora SS's goalkeeper Reynaldo Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arapixy AD's Alfredão Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Pinheiro in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Zézinho de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapora SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho de Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredão Tepedino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Arapixy AD's Alfredão Tepedino got control of the ball when Zézinho de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute Tapora SS were awarded a corner. Erivaldo Goiano went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Erivaldo Goiano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arapixy AD's Alfredão Tepedino did a great save. 35 minutes into the game, Otávio Santana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tapora SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arapixy AD the free kick. Otávio Santana hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Tapora SS's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Pitta came free, but Reynaldo Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zézinho de Alcântara succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 41st playminute. Eriberto Sergipano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo Salles having to make a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tião Pitta to make the kick off. Dráusio Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Reynaldo Salles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eriberto Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Reynaldo Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tião Pitta struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Reynaldo Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arapixy AD. After 71 played minutes Tapora SS got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Brasil. Alfredão Tepedino came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tapora SS's Carlinhos Quirino. But to his dismay, Carlinhos Quirino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Tapora SS's Marquinhos Pinheiro got a free kick in the 76th minute. Marquinhos Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Alfredão Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zézinho de Alcântara scored 3-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredão Tepedino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Marquinhos Pinheiro notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Arapixy AD's Alfredão Tepedino. Alfredão Tepedino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zézinho de Alcântara in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredão Tepedino saved Arapixy AD from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tapora SS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arapixy AD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
