In the 19thth minute of the game José Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moleque Travesso's Rui Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Luiz Eduardo Sarmento notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Moleque Travesso's Rui Moreno. After the first half Braganca were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
