Vitório de Medeiros was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Guilherme Félix in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitório de Medeiros saved LOCKINO from getting behind. Denílson de Queiroz hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Jataba SS's Josué de Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Jataba SS from getting a goal against them. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
