After a defensive mix-up in Carregador SC's zone, Moisés Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Sabóia came out of the goal and Moisés Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 6 played minutes Oxford got a freekick which was hit by Elano Melo. Luiz Fabiano Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 minutes, Laerte Breckenfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oxford and the Carregador SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Oxford getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Laerte Breckenfeld hit a great ball. After 13 played minutes Cássio Marquez rounded Oxford's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Valério Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oxford's supporters rose to their feet, but Valério Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Valério Silveira sped through Carregador SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Charles Sabóia. 24 minutes into the game, Oxford's Valério Silveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles Sabóia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Valério Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moisés Penha in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Sabóia saved Carregador SC from getting behind. When Cássio Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Carregador SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Marquez couldn't finish the play. After having played for 43 minutes, Valério Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oxford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valério Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Carregador SC's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Penha came free, but Charles Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Luiz Fabiano Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Marquez went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Carregador SC's Cássio Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Júnior Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Júnior Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carregador SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Júnior Zanette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fabiano Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moisés Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Charles Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júnior Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charles Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Silveira in the 80th minute of the match. Cássio Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Queirós having to interfere. Charles Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Moisés Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carregador SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
