Amadeu Monteiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Joélson Guedes made a huge save. Joélson Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeu Monteiro in the 44th minute. After 46 played minutes Tauapecassu AD got a freekick which was hit by José Vítor Melo.

The Cucaia SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joélson Guedes should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Tauapecassu AD's Perivaldo da Mata got a free kick in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tauapecassu AD fully deserved thier win.
