Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Glauco Brasil started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Valladares in the 5th minute of play forced Gouvea Super 21's goalkeeper Roger de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gouvea Super 21's Roger de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Valladares in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Tadeu de Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gouvea Super 21 and the Nacional United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kiko da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Glauco Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Diogo Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger de Azevedo having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glauco Brasil in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Nacional United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Eduardo Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Eduardo Paraibano came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Gouvea Super 21's Joélson Fernandes. But to his dismay, Joélson Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Roger de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Valladares in the 43rd minute of the match. Diogo Sarmento did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Roger de Azevedo 44 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diogo Sarmento was the one to do the kick off. Diogo Sarmento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger de Azevedo having to make a save. If Conrado Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gouvea Super 21's Roger de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Valladares in the 58th minute of play. Diogo Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger de Azevedo having to interfere. Duda Queiroz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Eduardo Paraibano. Nacional United FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Gouvea Super 21's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Sarmento came free, but Roger de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Nacional United FC booed when Gouvea Super 21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Nacional United FC's Carlos Eduardo Paraibano got control of the ball when Joélson Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 96 played minutes Nacional United FC got a freekick which was hit by Kiko da Mata. Nacional United FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Gouvea Super 21 to leave the ground with a draw.
