Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) Nuno Fontes came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Chapada's Elias Valladares. But to his dismay, Elias Valladares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Elias Valladares notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Aroases AD's Nuno Fontes. Nuno Fontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ismael Ferraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fabiano Velasco struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Nuno Fontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chapada. When Luiz Fabiano Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Chapada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fabiano Velasco couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Gláuber Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Elias Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Valladares's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute Luiz Fabiano Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ediberto de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Dida Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Chapada were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ediberto de Mendonça came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Aroases AD's Dida Donato. But to his dismay, Dida Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Elias Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Nuno Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Valladares's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Nuno Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Ismael Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto de Mendonça having to interfere. When Dida Donato came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Aroases AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dida Donato couldn't finish the play. Ismael Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dida Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto de Mendonça having to interfere. If Elias Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ediberto de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Ferraz in the 81st minute of the match. Ediberto de Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dida Donato's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Nuno Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. If Luiz Fabiano Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Elias Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Valladares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chapada eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
