Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benjamim Pena started the match with the kick off. Adelino de Queirós's late challenge caught a Lokitos Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adelino de Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Adelino de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Maga de Indaial's Reinaldo Paiva got control of the ball when Magno Gaúcho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Maga de Indaial's Maurício Toledo got a free kick in the 4th minute. Reinaldo Paiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magno Gaúcho in the 6th minute. After 7 played minutes Maga de Indaial got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Toledo. Benjamim Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaldo Paiva having to interfere. Maga de Indaial's Reinaldo Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Pena in the 13th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, Maga de Indaial's Adelino de Queirós made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basílio Baptista was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilberto da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Lokitos Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino de Queirós came free, but Basílio Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maga de Indaial's Maurício Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reinaldo Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamim Pena in the 32nd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Lokitos Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Aílton Vidal. After a defensive mix-up in Lokitos Football Club's zone, Adelino de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Baptista came out of the goal and Adelino de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reinaldo Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim Pena in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Benjamim Pena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reinaldo Paiva. Benjamim Pena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The long shot by César Mazza in the 47th minute really tested Reinaldo Paiva's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adelino de Queirós to strike the kick off in the second half. Basílio Baptista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adelino de Queirós in the 54th minute. Maga de Indaial's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alessandro Braga in the 60th minute. Diogo Garcia was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adelino de Queirós got free with Basílio Baptista in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Lokitos Football Club getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Betão Paiva hit a great ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maga de Indaial's goalkeeper Reinaldo Paiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Maga de Indaial got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Carlos Fantini. Basílio Baptista was a little too slow when Zézinho do Nascimento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-2. After 77 played minutes Zézinho do Nascimento rounded Lokitos Football Club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. If Adelino de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Maga de Indaial's Adelino de Queirós in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lokitos Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. Adelino de Queirós's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Basílio Baptista skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Basílio Baptista acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Antônio Carlos Fantini.
