Maicon Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maicon Severo got free with Manuel Bastos in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bastioes SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Roger Proença scored to the left of an out of position Manuel Bastos, making the score, 2-1. Casseb's Aílton Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maria Bezerra in the 31st minute of play. If Francisco Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, José Maria Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bastioes SC's zone, Maicon Severo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Bastos came out of the goal and Maicon Severo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Roger Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Maicon Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casseb's supporters rose to their feet, but Maicon Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Maicon Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Paranaense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. José Maria Bezerra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Aílton Matorin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 56 played minutes Casseb got a freekick which was hit by Betão Paraense. With a little luck, Casseb's Aílton Matorin got control of the ball when José Maria Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Maicon Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 69 minutes, Maicon Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casseb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maicon Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Proença struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Manuel Bastos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casseb. Flávio Moreno hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Aílton Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Paranaense in the 75th minute of the match. Bastioes SC's Francisco Paranaense suffered a sore thigh after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Casseb getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Betão Paraense hit a great ball. Cido Lira hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes, Casseb's Kauan Perez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manuel Bastos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Casseb reached it. Paulo José Trancoso kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Maicon Severo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Bastioes SC's Manuel Bastos. Manuel Bastos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Casseb had won after a very even match.
