Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jano Neves took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Jaraaua got a freekick which was hit by Richard Pirani. In the 3rd minute, Eusébio Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 5 minutes, Richard Pirani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaraaua and the Vila Nova GO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Richard Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Moisés Corrêa from long distance, 5 minutes into the match, got Sílvio Luiz Cruz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in Jaraaua's zone, Raphael Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Luiz Cruz came out of the goal and Raphael Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raphael Neves in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luiz Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dorian Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Moisés Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Paulão Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Vila Nova GO's Moisés Corrêa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sílvio Luiz Cruz but with some difficulty. 2-0 became the score in the 22nd minute when Raphael Neves elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 26th minute of the match, Eusébio Xavier got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sílvio Luiz Cruz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 27th minute, Eusébio Xavier made a precise shot to the right of Sílvio Luiz Cruz. Jaraaua's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Moisés Corrêa took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Sílvio Luiz Cruz to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusébio Xavier got free with Sílvio Luiz Cruz in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Pontes in the 40th minute of play forced Vila Nova GO's goalkeeper Denílson Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaraaua's Sílvio Luiz Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Jaraaua from getting a goal against them. Raphael Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luiz Cruz having to interfere. Sílvio Luiz Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Richard Pirani was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. A collision led to Jaraaua getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Richard Pirani hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Xavier in the 62nd minute of play forced Jaraaua's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Vila Nova GO's Duarte Montenegro got a free kick in the 64th minute. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Eusébio Xavier put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sílvio Luiz Cruz. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
