With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caio Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mathias Gomes scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caio Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute of the match Enio Cabral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caio Lara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Caio Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Gomes in the 53rd minute of play. Mathias Gomes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Caio Lara came out and tried to block the shot, but Mathias Gomes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 55th minute. Caio Lara acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Enio Cabral. If Mathias Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Silveira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Caio Lara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alfredo Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gustavo Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Célio Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pinduri AD getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Lauro Fontes hit a great ball. Gustavo Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Ribeiro in the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of Clube Atletico Carvalho booed when Pinduri AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Célio Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gustavo Terra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atletico Carvalho. In the 95th minute Mathias Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pinduri AD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
