The supporters of FalconFC booed when Tamarati FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Basílio Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Tamarati FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Valladares came free, but Almir Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tamarati FC's Almir Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Furlan in the 7th minute of play. Clemente Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tamarati FC's goalkeeper Almir Fontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adhemar Esteves got free with Dudu Lucas in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adhemar Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Almir Fontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Célio Furlan went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 20thth minute of the game Clemente Valladares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tamarati FC's Almir Fontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Gonçalves in the 24th minute of play forced FalconFC's goalkeeper Dudu Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Célio Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Paulo do Vale during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes FalconFC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo do Vale. In the 37th minute FalconFC were awarded a corner. Luís Paulo do Vale went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FalconFC's Luís Paulo do Vale to fire away a dangerous shot which Almir Fontes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, FalconFC's Célio Furlan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Fontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ronaldo Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldo Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, FalconFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Dias to maneuver through the defense. Adhemar Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Almir Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Valladares in the 52nd minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, FalconFC's Célio Furlan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Fontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adhemar Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dudu Lucas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Murilo Leite hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Tamarati FC's Ademir Monteiro got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Vito Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tamarati FC's Almir Fontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Tamarati FC from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes in the game, Clemente Valladares fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Almir Fontes having to interfere. If Adhemar Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute, Teodoro do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tamarati FC's Vito Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dudu Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Gonçalves in the 93rd minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FalconFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
