Rubens Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Reis having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, S.C Rockbol Paulista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, S.C Rockbol Paulista's goalkeeper Haroldo Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rubens Urbano. After a defensive mix-up in Ladario's zone, Vladimir Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betinho Hermes came out of the goal and Vladimir Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Charles Meira came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Ladario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Meira couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ladario's Diogo Dante got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 57th minute, Vladimir Branco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Betinho Hermes, passed just outside the right post. Vladimir Branco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Betinho Hermes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Betinho Hermes came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C Rockbol Paulista's Vladimir Branco. But to his dismay, Vladimir Branco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 78 played minutes Ladario got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Dante. If Vladimir Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ladario's Betinho Hermes got control of the ball when Vladimir Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Ladario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Dante to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Vladimir Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C Rockbol Paulista's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betinho Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rubens Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Haroldo Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over S.C Rockbol Paulista could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ladario throughout the match.
