Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Edu Carneiro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Wilton Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Porto in the 5th minute of the match. Edu Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Seco having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Quebrangulo's zone, Edu Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Alberto Seco came out of the goal and Edu Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Querera AD's attack was well implemented in the 12th minute, but when Edu Carneiro was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 15 minutes into the game, Querera AD's José Paulo Rosado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Alberto Seco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 19 played minutes Querera AD got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Cabral. Roberto Gaspar charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Gaspar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roberto Gaspar hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute of the match Dedê Bueno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Alberto Seco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Querera AD's Dedê Bueno tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Quebrangulo's zone, José Paulo Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Alberto Seco came out of the goal and José Paulo Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Edu Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Alberto Seco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Paulo Rosado went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 37 minutes, Jonas Ramalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebrangulo and the Querera AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute of the match Querera AD got a corner. Quebrangulo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dedê Bueno ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dedê Bueno made a great header on Querera AD's corner, it was just that Quebrangulo's Carlos Alberto Seco managed to reach the ball for a save. After 45 played minutes Quebrangulo got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Gaspar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Porto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Querera AD's Wilton Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Porto in the 53rd minute of play. Pedro Luiz Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Wilton Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Querera AD getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Dedê Bueno hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Vladimir Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot. Querera AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Recife was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Alberto Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roberto Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. José Paulo Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Carlos Alberto Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuca Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Querera AD booed when Quebrangulo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Paulo Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Seco having to interfere. Roberto Gaspar was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Quebrangulo getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Roberto Gaspar hit a great ball. José Paulo Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Seco having to interfere. Pedro Luiz Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Schmidt having to interfere. After 79 played minutes, Querera AD's Dedê Bueno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Seco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Querera AD reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Pedro Luiz Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quebrangulo's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luiz Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilton Schmidt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Luiz Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Querera AD played a much better game than Quebrangulo and deserved their victory. The Quebrangulo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
