Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Guando EC's André Luiz Damião started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, André Luiz Damião dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Castro, 1-0. The supporters of Ibarama FC booed when Guando EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Ibarama FC's goalkeeper Wilson Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Correia. Daniel Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Giovanni Albuquerque notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Guando EC's Cássio Cardozo. Cássio Cardozo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cássio Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Albuquerque in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Luizão Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibarama FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guando EC the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Ibarama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. After 30 played minutes Ibarama FC got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Koehler. Wilson Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luiz Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Albuquerque in the 35th minute of play. Cássio Cardozo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giovanni Albuquerque's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Guando EC booed when Ibarama FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márcio Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giovanni Albuquerque to make the kick off. Guando EC's Cássio Cardozo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Guando EC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Albuquerque in the 58th minute of play forced Guando EC's goalkeeper Cássio Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ibarama FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Luizão Ortiz hit a great ball. André Luiz Damião struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Wilson Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guando EC. Luiz Fernando Correia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Cássio Cardozo made a huge save. André Luiz Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Wilson Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Guando EC's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Albuquerque came free, but Cássio Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Oscar Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Luiz Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Castro having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Olívio de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Fellipe Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If André Luiz Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fernando Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilson Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. André Luiz Damião blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Castro having to make a save. Guando EC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Ibarama FC to leave the ground with a draw.
