The wind increased when Sidney Paraense made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Agostinho Paiva managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when São João Do Cabrito's Albertino Nascimento fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Ismael Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Albertino Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agostinho Paiva was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Dorian Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. After a defensive mix-up in São João Do Cabrito's zone, Edu de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorian Veiga came out of the goal and Edu de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
