Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcel Ribeiro started the match with the kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Marcel Ribeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ubatuba Esporte Clube's Gugu Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Ismael Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ubatuba Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 played minutes Ubatuba Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Rafael de Azevedo. In the 24th match minute, Ubatuba Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Rosa to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Marcel Ribeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gugu Paiva was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After 26 played minutes Real Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Monteiro. Yaman Özen had several of the Real Salvador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Léo Britto as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gugu Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Ribeiro in the 31st minute of play. Marcel Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Paiva having to interfere. Delfim Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaman Özen in the 37th minute of play forced Real Salvador's goalkeeper Léo Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Delfim Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ubatuba Esporte Clube the free kick. In the 37th minute, Delfim Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Yaman Özen came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ubatuba Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yaman Özen couldn't finish the play. Léo Britto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael de Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael de Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcel Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Paiva having to interfere. Marcel Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Gugu Paiva made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel Ribeiro got free with Gugu Paiva in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, Elano Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Léo Britto. Real Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elano Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Léo Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael de Azevedo in the 70th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Gilvan Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustão Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Paiva having to interfere. In the 88th minute Real Salvador were awarded a corner. Filomeno Benat went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Filomeno Benat almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ubatuba Esporte Clube's Gugu Paiva did a great save. In the 93rd minute Gilvan Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Salvador's Léo Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael de Azevedo in the 96th minute of play.
