Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benê Neto kicked off to start the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Gabriel Quirino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Betania FC's Renatinho da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Renatinho da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guilherme Sabóia got free with Clemente Sabóia in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Betania FC defense, Gabriel Quirino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renatinho da Cunha. The Betania FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renatinho da Cunha should have stopped the shot. Guilherme Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Benê Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benê Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Gabriel Quirino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamengo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Benê Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Renatinho da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Benê Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renatinho da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Betania FC a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Thomás da Mata, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Flamengo FC's Clemente Sabóia. 1-2. Rodolfo Castro struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Renatinho da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo FC. Renatinho da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The supporters of Flamengo FC booed when Betania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murillo Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rodolfo Castro came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Flamengo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Castro couldn't finish the play. Murillo Britto might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renatinho da Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Murillo Britto ran back to his position shaking his head. If Gabriel Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Flamengo FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Vítor Sabóia was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Murillo Britto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renatinho da Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gabriel Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renatinho da Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Murillo Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes Betania FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Teles. João Vítor Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Clemente Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renatinho da Cunha was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Rodolfo Castro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodolfo Castro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Renatinho da Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Castro's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If João Vítor Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Gabriel Quirino made a precise shot to the right of Renatinho da Cunha. Betania FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. A hard shot 79 in the game by Gabriel Quirino from a close distance when the talented Renatinho da Cunha managed to make a qualified save. Betania FC's players were relieved. Gabriel Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho da Cunha having to interfere. Renatinho da Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Quirino went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. Rodolfo Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho da Cunha having to interfere. If Rodolfo Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Quirino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Chicão de Brito hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When Flamengo FC's Gabriel Quirino in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Betania FC's goalie prevented a goal. Norberto Teles hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the match was over Flamengo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Betania FC throughout the match.
