The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Germano Brasil mouthed his way into the referee's book. Jeronimo Bartuelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Dedé Arce made a huge save. Gonçalo Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Vasconcelos in the 14th minute of the match. Dedé Arce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeronimo Bartuelo went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 21st of the match, Douglas Silva tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Dedé Arce got in the way and made a wonderful save. Itatapua EC's Dedé Arce tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Abelardo Maranhense notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Itatapua EC's Dedé Arce. Dedé Arce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abelardo Maranhense struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Dedé Arce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Metropolitano SC. Abelardo Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dedé Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Metropolitano SC's Douglas Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dedé Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Abelardo Maranhense made a precise shot to the right of Dedé Arce. Itatapua EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0.
