Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when João Augusto Fontes made the kick off which started today's match. Arí Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Fontes in the 8th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Airao SS's Giovani Quintal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arí Donatello. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. 15 minutes into the game, LIPETEAM's Edgar de Amorim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Airao SS's Angelo Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gláuber Moraes in the 21st minute of play. Dorian Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match Luizinho Pontes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Linares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Tiago Gabriel Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Guilherme Veloso hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in LIPETEAM's zone, Genílson Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arí Donatello came out of the goal and Genílson Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tiago Gabriel Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, LIPETEAM's Luiz Guilherme Veloso got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tiago Gabriel Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giovani Quintal struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Arí Donatello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Airao SS. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renan Meira made a kick off. João Augusto Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Donatello having to interfere. In the 55th minute, João Augusto Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Giovani Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arí Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Giovani Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Airao SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovani Quintal couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Christiano do Valle had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. A collision led to Airao SS getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Tony Oliveira hit a great ball. Giovani Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Donatello having to interfere. In the 71st minute Giovani Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Giovani Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Donatello having to interfere. João Augusto Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genílson Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 played minutes LIPETEAM got a freekick which was hit by Edgar de Amorim. João Augusto Fontes struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Arí Donatello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Airao SS. In the 85th minute João Augusto Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arí Donatello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Augusto Fontes went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Airao SS booed when LIPETEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th match minute, Airao SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Machado to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Airao SS had played much better football throughout.
