Falcão Aparecido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Zonta's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Cléberson Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Carvalho having to interfere. In the 44th minute of the match Himalaia AD got a corner. Gallinhos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gilvan Gerber ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Himalaia AD's Cléberson Leão to a score. 1-1 in the 44th minute. Diogo Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Manuel Zonta made the kick off in the second half. Himalaia AD's Falcão Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Zonta in the 52nd minute of play. Gallinhos were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
