Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Ibirapuera's zone, Inácio Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robinho Loyola came out of the goal and Inácio Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of GAINO FC booed when Ibirapuera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Raimundo de Sena notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ibirapuera's Robinho Loyola. Robinho Loyola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of GAINO FC booed when Ibirapuera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilvan Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robinho Loyola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo de Sena's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Delfim Pernambucano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robinho Loyola was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 21stth minute of the game Raimundo de Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibirapuera's Robinho Loyola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nico Zonta hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Nico Zonta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Horácio Barreto came out and tried to block the shot, but Nico Zonta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 26th minute. Horácio Barreto was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Walmir Rezende capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Walmir Rezende really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 36th minute, Raimundo de Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adelino Sá made a kick off. After some careless play in the GAINO FC defense, Adelino Sá kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horácio Barreto. The GAINO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horácio Barreto should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Almir Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robinho Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Pernambucano in the 57th minute of play. Horácio Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chicão Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horácio Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan Leão in the 62nd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, GAINO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Zonta came free, but Horácio Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
