In the 15th minute, Alfred Bronicki made a precise shot to the right of Renatinho Andrade. Cotaxe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Marcinho Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Andrade having to interfere. Alfred Bronicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfred Bronicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sait Duran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinho Cruz in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sait Duran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sait Duran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toninho Guerra in the 37th minute. Toninho Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Sait Duran made a huge save. Toninho Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toninho Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cotaxe's Toninho Guerra got a free kick in the 41st minute. Marcinho Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Renatinho Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gray & Black's Sait Duran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Cruz in the 48th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinho Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. If Claudinho Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Claudinho Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cotaxe's protests and gave Claudinho Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. 68 minutes into the match, Gray & Black's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Guerra came free, but Sait Duran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Claudinho Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Cotaxe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinho Cruz couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the game, Cotaxe's Toninho Guerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sait Duran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Horácio Bueno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sait Duran. Gray & Black's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gray & Black's Sait Duran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Cruz in the 81st minute of play.
