The supporters of Itaim EC booed when GUADALUPE C.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Itaim EC's zone, Frédson Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeferson Prata came out of the goal and Frédson Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Itaim EC's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Borges came free, but Jeferson Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, GUADALUPE C.C's Diogo Carvalho got a free kick in the 12th minute. Patrick Fantini was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rubinho Damião. After 16 minutes, Jonas Guedes made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. GUADALUPE C.C's Patrick Fantini tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Patrick Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Jonas Guedes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patrick Fantini. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itaim EC's goalkeeper Jeferson Prata, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Jonas Guedes in the 64th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Jonas Guedes put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Patrick Fantini. In the 75th minute, GUADALUPE C.C's Ciro Quintal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jeferson Prata. Jeferson Prata yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Jonas Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Carlos do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Fantini having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Zé Carlos do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaim EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Carlos do Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renato Faustino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Patrick Fantini. GUADALUPE C.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Itaim EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
