When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Simão Teixeira took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dorival Medeiros to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Barrenta SC's Oséas Teixeira got a free kick in the 6th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Raí Faria kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dorival Medeiros. That made the score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. When Barrenta SC's Raí Faria in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Braldinhagem's goalie prevented a goal. Braldinhagem's Dorival Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Braldinhagem from getting a goal against them. Raí Faria's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Dorival Medeiros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Barrenta SC's Osmar Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Tepedino in the 28th minute of play. Raí Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Medeiros having to interfere. In the 35th minute Jano Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osmar Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jano Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Raí Faria kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dorival Medeiros. That made the score 4-0 in the 40 minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Simão Teixeira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dorival Medeiros, 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raí Faria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Acácio Duarte's late challenge caught a Braldinhagem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Acácio Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Barrenta SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arí Vianna 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-1. Barrenta SC's Osmar Valadares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Barrenta SC from getting a goal against them. Raí Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oséas Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dorival Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raí Faria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorival Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Oséas Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Oséas Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrenta SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséas Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorival Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 6-1 became the score in the 71st minute when Oséas Teixeira elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Oséas Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorival Medeiros was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Osmar Valadares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rui Camargo. In the 94th minute, Raí Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barrenta SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
