Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gláuber Custódio started the match with the kick off. When Artur Leão came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Taquarassu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Leão couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute of the match, Artur Leão got a very nice opportunity to score, but Teodoro Moreno was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gláuber Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Teodoro Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidney Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Otávio Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Schmidt in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute Taquarassu were awarded a corner. Victor Camargo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Victor Camargo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teodoro Moreno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 32 minutes, Fiori Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pajou SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fiori Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fiori Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Otávio Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otávio Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Schmidt in the 38th minute of play. If Joaquim Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Pajou SS's Fiori Reis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otávio Simão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fiori Reis to strike the kick off in the second half. Gláuber Custódio might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Moreno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gláuber Custódio ran back to his position shaking his head. When Gláuber Custódio came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Taquarassu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gláuber Custódio couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Leão in the 60th minute of the match. Artur Leão struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Teodoro Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taquarassu. Pajou SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taquarassu the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pajou SS's Raphael Linares got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Pajou SS's Fiori Reis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Pajou SS's Fiori Reis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Otávio Simão. That made the score 0-2 after 91 minutes of play. The Taquarassu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pajou SS's performance. The match ended with a win for Pajou SS.
